The pit zips should be directly under you arms. It sounds like your Packa is not fitting right, or maybe defective? Call me and we can discuss getting this fixed.

Yeah, condensation. I get this too, more than I'd like for sure. I've found that after you deploy the jacket, if you reach back and tighten the packcover drawstring good and tight, you can minimize this.

Great report Raul!!! Haven't watched the vid/s yet but will here shortly! Glad to hear you both had a great time!!! Yea I can taste the Aquamira drops as well, not too bad of a taste, just more chlorinated!? But they work great, I switched to a gravity filter set-up for camp (the Aquasimple from Paul at AHE) and that was trully a wonderful, easy, and light weight! So now that you've had a chance to get the tarp tested in some pretty bad weather, how do you like the spinn? Was it really loud? I ask as I have been eyeballin one (even though I have the deluxe in sil though) I am in the ever going quest to get my pack weight even lighter (but with having some comfort items too) and the spinn tarp would cut some weight in comparison to the sil one!

    Cedar,

I think the defective item is the person wearing it... me.

I put it on just now with my pack on and the zips are under my arm... when deploying it I have a lot of excess room in the sleeves I have have to make a concious effort to position the sleeves correctly before I begin my hike.

    CB,

The rest of the vids will be available soon. All loaded but one... for some reason it is giving me a hard time on Youtube (part 3 of 4)..... wait.... ok confirmed part 3 finally loaded.

See first thread for all videos ready for viewing.

Sorry it took so long I usually have them up the day I come back but this new program takes 1hour 30 min to format the videos at 8-10min length and then another 40 minutes to load it on youtube... quite an endevour this time!!!

Nice job on the videos. Wonder what camera you are using!

The SpinnUL will get quieter over time.

    P....Raul:
Thanks for the vids and the break that I needed for the dreary day that we have had here in Alabama. Its typical that the one day during the week that I have off it will rain........gotta love Mother Nature and her sense of humor!!!!!!!
