    Source for Cord Locks

I'm looking for a source for line cord locks like those used on Mountain Laurel Designs Tarps.

You can see a sample HERE

I am hoping someone has seen these somewhere else.

What line do you plan to use on them Beep? I had OWF get me one in as a sample a few months back and could not get 1.75 or 2.2mm Lash-it line to hold in them, they would slip at about 1/2-3/4 of the amount of tension I thought was adequate. But those lines are slick so YMMV

Now...if only they'd make them in a size that would handle 1.75mm line rather than the 2.5 to 3mm they're designed for.

I went to the mfrs. on-line catalog. They only make the Lineloc 3 size.

Exactly, Paul....that's the problem. They work great with Kelty Trip Tease or other paracord sized line, but not the small high-tech cords we tend to favor.

I'll check there next time I'm in the store, but I am only interested if it'll handle tarp pullout lines...e.g. Speer no-tangle or 1.75 mm variants. I'm not unhappy with my current mini-linelocs but I'm thinking ahead and like the "elegance" of the "ladderloc for cord"
