You are right. I met "Nightwalker" and he had a new HH. My mind put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5.Wallace - I don't think that was me in Damascus because I have never been to Damascus. Guess there are more people using this name.
I guess I planted a seed when I mailed you that first set of buckles to try!!

on a related note:
i just tested some of the www.owfinc.com 1"polyester webbing. it seemed to be good enough stretch-wise; i only tested 6' of it though. it is available by the foot. it only comes in woodland camo. they told me i was 2000# tensile, and it weighs 45% less than the strapworks 1".
strapworks 1": 11.1 grams/ft, 3500#
owf 1": 6.1 grams/ft, 2000#
Just got thru sewing the loops for my OWF polyester 1" woodland green camo webbing www.owfinc.com/Hardware/Shardware/webbing.asp
I sewed 3 box stitches per webbing. 24' total length
It weighs the same as Speer 1" poly webbing. Maybe 0.1 oz more.
This stuff looks really nice.
