    oes maccat deluxe spinn

on the last hang i did the hoiser hang, while setting up my tarp, i have noticed tiny pin like holes (maybe 3 to 4) just before where the black fabric meets the spin material. anyone else seeing this issue?? its only in one of the corners was wondering if this is a sign of premature failure of the fabric or some type of bug or something eating the material, the tarp may be a yr old but only set up a dozen times. never put away wet or with anything that could "puncture" the tarp, do not have cats that would maybe shapen the claws with the tarp, stored in a covered rubbermaid container when not in use so its very unlikely it is a mouse. pics will come once i am at home, at work on break now.
i do not remember the question, however i believe beer is the answer

I have the same tarp, but it's extremely new, so I don't see any holes. I hope it is easily patched.

I have a corner of my OES Spinn tarp that has similar holes (for lack of a better word). It has been that way since I received it. Well, I'm pretty sure it was that way when I got it, but I was pretty excited and probably didn't do a detailed inspection. I noticed it the 2nd or 3rd night I was back on the Trail. Spent the next few months forgetting about it, then remembering it, then forgetting about it, then...you get the idea. That was just about 2 years ago (probably a week or two more than that) and the tarp has had heavy use since then. It still looks the same and difficult to see any holes unless you are really looking or the light hits it just right. I stopped being worried about it a very long time ago and only remembered it after reading this thread.

    Doubt you'll have any problems.
