I had my heart set on getting on of Eds winter tarps this month but it looks like I'll have to change my plan now.
What other options are there for a big tarp with tie-outs ?
Brandons Superfly is looking favourite at the moment.

Backwoods DayDreamer Winter Dream... it's a bit larger than the SWT.

sure you want tie outs? i thought about them at one time then saw 2Q's tarp and the pole mod---changed my mind forever
So I went searching around 2QZQ's website to figure out what their tarp mod was. Are you talking about using a small tent pole to push out the middle?

Also, the BWDD Four Season Cat-cut tarp is just slightly larger than the Speer Winter Tarp, and fairly similarly shaped.
Either of Warbonnet's larger tarps with doors would do the trick, as would a custom tarp from OES. Also, I think JRB has a 10x11 that would work in similar manner as well.

For $60 you can get the large tarp from claytor. I also did the pole mod, and it works great! I can even close both ends and still have plenty of room.
Yep, that's it. 6 section pole weighs about 4 ozs. and adds girth to the tarp where you need it most.
