i hardly use my ipod....even when i do take it...i'm going to stop taking it soon...maybe just my shuffle for late night...but the ipod touch does not get alot of use out on the trail..waste of 5 oz for me
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
I hope this thing works. It is just the solution I'm looking for. We all have that one luxury item we carry. For me it is my iPod and now my iPhone. Love to have something that works for the AT!

Beginning my NOBO trip on the AT on 2/28/12.
Looks like a great device, hope it works as advertised.
Attach it to your dog while backpacking and you might get more than 80% recharged. Great idea - what is the weight and size?
