DIY Jerry #5 Hammock ...

I really like this hammock and am working on a design that borrows from this design and adds some other great features of other hammocks and some add on gear all rolled into one amazing package. I wish it was ready to show.

it is what i am working on for Sanborn Canoe so it will be some time before i can show it off but i will do so in the other vendors forum when it is ready.

This length is really roomy

I am starting another soon that will have a footbox and double zippers for entry.
The hook and loop is kind of noisy in the night and sometimes snags the net.

Just completed my Jerry #5 convertible. I would like to thank (in no particular order): Warbonnetguy, JerryW., TZbrown, Hawk-eye, 2qzq, and anyone else whose ideas I've incorporated into this hammock.

Thanks, I'm really glad I decided to take this project on. I really like the three zips on each side. It should make UQ adjustments a piece of cake.

I also wasn't gutsy enough to use 1/4" bias tape, and opted for the 1/2". I'm also glad crooked seams are as strong as straight ones as I have quite a few crooked seams in mine.
