Wow, looks fantastic TZ. That is deserving of it own thread. Nice design and twist on the netting idea. Really opens up the view.
What netting did you use?
Zipper entrance?
Just for that, you better come to the hang.

No-See-um Netting, and hammock fabric from Speer.
Hook and Loop fastener for entrance also from Speer
Looks great, TZ. I always wondered how one would look with netting for the side panels. Looks like it really opens up the view.

The "Search" function is your friend!
I might make a bugnet like that for my Speer, and attach it to the velcro on the hammock edges.

It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
Great looking hammocks in this thread! My eldest son is beginning to ask questions about hammock hanging. I have everything I need to build one except for the noseeum netting. I do believe that I will have to dash off a order for some. And then get busy trying my hand a version of the Jerry hammock.
i think i might make a bug net like that for my wb traveler clone Hmmm

Wow!
I love this design... very similar to what I did on my #5 hammock... only I also added a footbox and a shelf.

I'm amazed at how swapping the fabric side panels for netting opens things up.
This will definitely find its way into a summer hammock... right after I finish the other 4 that I have partially completed.
or maybe not!
#4 was going to be a WBBB clone, but I haven't put on the panel, zipper, footbox, shelf, or netting yet (its just a body and rl at this point). I think I'll make it a Jerry #5 w/ TZ panels.
Thanks to Jerry for sharing the concept and Hawkeye and TZ for sharing their versions.
