    Local Source for Cord

Im looking to get some cord to add ring buckles to the my ENO Doublenest. I have a REI, Lowes and Home Depot locally. I need the cord for next Thursday (the 13th). Any opions at thoes stores?

Could I just untie the black cord already in the doublenest's channel and add rings to it? Weight isn't much a concern for me.

    Thanks.

that is what I did on my parachute silk hammock, (not an eno, but plays one on TV) then trimmed the cord to eliminate excess grams. have since moved primary hammock to Whoopies slings, and will put webbing/rings on loaner hammock.
    YMMV, km

(PS make sure you use reliable knots to re-secure the suspension...bad place to get slippage!)

Have you thought about using the cinch buckles that Paul sales at AHE. They with a loop of Amsteel already and are simply to swap out on an ENO. I have them on my ENO DN and I like them a lot. I know your looking locally but for the proce and ease of use I don't think they can be beat, that is if you have a webbing suspension already in use. If not he sells webbing too.

I saw the buckles at AHE, but I wasn't sure if I would get them in time.

i have the ENO double nest, i bought two 10' lengths of webbing and i just larks head to a tree and then marlin spike hitch and hook the loop from the end of the ENO onto it. i took off those heavy carabiners (3oz each) andnadjusted the knot on the end of the ENO so the loop was large enough to get around a toggle, my friend was using the standard ENO double with fast straps and i think the weight difference between our setups is 8oz or so and i have a bigger range of adjustment.
my next step is whoopie slings.
