    mods to GG 12x12 tarps

i was planning on cutting alot off of my GG tarp, and then when i actually layed the thing out and measured it, i realized how much smaller the actual dimensions were. its actually 10'6''x10'6''. and the corners go out to just about 12' if you include the tie outs. anyways. i was planning on cutting it similar the the backwoods daydreamer winter dream, only with a 10' ridgeline and 12' at the bottom, so instead i just cut the corners off of each side.
then i extended the center tie outs by 9 inches on either side, making it 6ft.
which allowed my lay in the A frame configuration and close the "doors",
oh and i already had the center tie outs sewn on so i could set in A frame in the first place

i just finished it sewing it and setting it up, i just threw on some mason line to see how it works, i will improve it later, and i plan on adding center pull outs so i can pull out the sides and make it roomier on the inside,
has anyone else done anything similar to this?
or any other modifications to a GG tarp?

    Here's another:

Works pretty well, I made cat cuts along each side and edge with grosgrain.

I believe the ridgeline is 11ft. I simply cut off the lower triangle section on both sides of the tarp and then did a cat cut on the edges.

i added center tie outs to the tarp, im really happy with it, they really open the tarp up, unfortionatly theres a place in my backyard to set up my hammock, and a place in the front to set up the tarp, but nowhere to set up the hammock and tarp together. so as soon as i get a chance ill set them up, but today is mothers day and im off to my grandmas.
Happy Mothers Day, all you moms out there.

Dalton, I like what you've done to the center tie outs....
Great addition. Really makes the tarp that much more spacious.
