If you can't duck it then use more duct tape!
I was in my local Wally World today and got excited when I saw a bolt of the same camo material. Then I picked it up and found there was about 2 feet of fabric left on the bolt. Maybe next time.
I have 3 bolt of the same material. It is definatley not sil., but a light, but good pu coating on it. All the real sil that I have will take the sil spray that I use to seal the seams. Sil spray on this WM material just beads up like water.
The WM stuff is waterproof and I stil plan on making a tarp(s) and/or stuff sacks out of the material.
I just bought some from wallyworld too tonight. It came in on the $1 unknown shelf but i about crapped myself when i saw it. the crappy thing was i didnt buy the whole bolt, iLm going back tomorrow though to see if i can still get some.
Can't we all just 'Hang' along?

I just bought some WM digital camo fabric that looks just like this. I thought it was sil but after doing a burn test and cutting and weighing a 2 SY peice I now belive it is urethane coated polyester fabric. It weighs just over 3 oz / SY. My waterproof tests show this stuff to be extremely waterproof so I am going to try my hand on a DIY tarp even though it will not be UL friendly (I estimate a "Blackcat Tarp w/ this stuff to weigh 22 oz). But at $1.50 YD I am still glad I bought the 10 YDs I found.
I have some of that. Pretty heavy for the backpack. But I will find uses for it. Thinking of a tarp for when I hang in the backyard, or perhaps to try out some new designs. Have fun with it!
