Hammock Stands at the new house

We are in the transition of moving to our new house in Lancaster County PA. While waiting for the movers to move our stuff down in a couple weeks, I set up the hammocks and stands in the living room so we have a place to sleep on weekends down there.

Its the Agri Stands with the stand extenders made with boiler pipes by a friend of 2QZQ that I had picked up recently. Note, the extenders only have primer on it- I need to spray paint it black.

Assembled, its 17 feet apart and a bit high. We determined the size of the extensions based on 2Q's stand, which is a different brand than Agri. So the Agri poles are a bit longer than 2Q's. I will need to cut down the posts a little bit so the extenders fit a bit down and closer together and not be SO BIG!

After I move down, and tinker with the stand, Ill take better pics outside.

They look good Harpo! Don't cut them down too far. You may want to hang the tarp high in good weather just as a sun shade. I'm glad they fit your poles well.

I have a similar stand but without the extensions. How did you add the flared section of the extension to the boiler pipes to get them to nest over your existing stand?

    Great idea!

I really need to get a set of those. Even with pulling the the ends together, my butt still hits the bottom bar with my WBBB.

There is a larger OD piece of pipe welded to the extension. This piece of pipe fits over the stand pipe and is secured with a pin of some sort.

Thats why we got the extensions. Now depending how we set it up, theres at least a good foot or so above the bar.
