    The trade name for that cording is "Yale Pulse 1/16" cordage". The last I heard, they were only manufacturing it by the spool.

    Dynaglide is available in orange, if you're just looking for small diameter cordage. It's spliceable too.

    It's on the website http://www.speerhammocks.com/Products/Supplies.htm near the bottom, below webbing above hook & loop.

    Great stuff.

    i dont want to be banished from the forum for this, but why exactly is it that this guyline is so good?

    does it have a good hand?

    hold knots well?

    is it lightweight?

    any other qualities i may have missed?

    They won't banish you but they will shun you at teh next hang.

    What I really like about it is;
    It is highly visable
    It it ridgid and doesn't tangle easily
    When it does tangle it is easy to get out
    It holds knot well

    That image made me chuckle.

    Yep, all of that. I really like it for tarps and such. I think it is much easier to do most knots than is most small line. The rigidity is a big help. Highly visible.

    I got some from Mr.Prez a while back when Speer was out.

    I use it because I can just drop my lines inside the folds of my tarp as I roll it up to pull the skin over it. It almost never tangles. I don't like to fiddle with small things on a long hike. Rolling up lines individually is not for me. YMMV>
