Curious, have we determined an ideal put-in location that has ample & safe parking? I will be at the lake for the 4th and can try to locate these areas and take pictures for all to view for those areas that seem to be favorable. I know about the landing across from the island but the one location nearest to the island didn't sound like it would have parking for more than 4 cars. I would think if we could get this figured out and secured we could get more to commit to coming. Be glad to help however I can.

I am not going to see lake greenwood until the day of the group hang, so I will be counting on your intel 100% Sir Muskrat.

Other than having to cross the lake, I think Moon's landing would be the best bet for a group. You are correct about the Watt's Bridge Rd boat ramp. You might be able to park 4 cars there.

Been away for a while but this post caught my eye. I'm interested but don't think I'll be able to go in August, that said, if something like this gets scheduled for later in the Fall I'd love to go.

We'll be following this thread closely for more intel.( exactly where to put in, park, what time everyone is arriving etc.)

This sounds like a real fun time.....Kayaking, swimming, fishing, hangin', camping on an island. Looking forward to it big time!!

I've got a 14' canoe and 2 kayaks I'll be bringing, be more than happy to help shuttle someone if need be.

Nice. Looking forward to meeting you HB and the clan. I'm liking the idea of fishing as well. Might be needing to bring some oil and fry batter for Sat night too !
