Thanks for showing me all your stuff. I'm honored that y'all would take the time to fill me in on hammocks. I hope to be a part of a hang soon.
Glad you could join us for the afternoon and for dinner PG. You got a 2 hour review of 10% of everything you could ever want to know about hammocks... hope that's enough to make an informed decision on your future setup.

I want to thank Muskrat, Dameon, Ricegravy and anyone else who helped put this hang together. I had a great time!

Even though my thermometer on the hammock read 99.3*F on Friday afternoon!!!! I believe I may have lost a couple of pds. even after that incredible low country boil!!

Anyways, this is a thank you to all, and I'll let one of the more eloquent writers do the actual trip report.(unfortunately, I didn't have a camera, but others were taking pics left & right.)

Great to have you and Running Feather to make it down for the hang, looking forward to hanging with you guys again... Oct????

Great crowd, great weather (minus the humidity), GREAT FOOD ! For those that missed out, it was a heck of a BOIL! See Dameons pics again and pretend the scent of Old Bay is occupying the room you are currently in . . . our's was better

Looking forward to doing Goat Island again, this time when the water is a TAD bit cooler.

Thanks ChickenWing for getting us the permit "YOUR island" was spectacular !

    and 1 last time . . . " IS THAT ALL YOU GOT" !

    Talking

Just sitting here lookin at some of the pics that Dameon posted of this hang. It was an awesome event and I can't wait to make the next one. I am still full from the boil and the p-nuts.

Penny is laid out from all the swimming and paddling. My stomach hurts from all the laughing.

Probably the best quote of the weekend came from Muskrat. As he walked up to the roiling boil of fresh p-nut, he looks around and says,
"So, where'd you get your pot?"
    It got really quiet...
Then I leaned over and said, "Your not a cop are you?"

I think the only time I wasn't laughing was when I was asleep, and I'm not so sure I wasn't laughing then.

I want to thank everyone that made this happen and all the HARD work that went into making this an enjoyable event. I will let y'all use "my" island anytime.

It was definitely fun, and I am glad I was able to assist in getting some folks to and from the island, and While putting things away after I got home, I was delighted to find a treat! Someone left two nice packs of Reeses peanut butter cups in my cooler, they were delicious

    Hey chickenwing, speaking of laughing!!!!!!

    What was so funny???

Relax, monsters under the hammock are easily distracted by twister-playing squirrels.

Just want to thank everyone for such a fun hang, Ruckus and I are still worn out from the trip. The knowledge shared was invaluable and I have already ordered tree huggers and some woopies! Now if I could just afford a Warbonnet Blackbird!

Can't wait to do it again!
