I just got a PM from pgustaf249. He's a new hanger from Augusta who wants to scope out some hammocks. He'll be arriving some time Saturday afternoon. Dameon, I told him to make sure he gets your mobile phone number. What's the preferred tip for the water taxi? Beer, donuts, chocolate?
I've still got my fingers crossed that something will change and I'll be able to join you guys but it's not looking good for me this weekend.

So right now looks like I'm coming up Saturday and thanks to Hangin' Burrito will be hanging that night. Looking forward to meeting everyone and checking out all the gear.
If any one has any spare AmSteel, dutch clips, extra suspensions and hammocks or other cool stuff please bring it along.
What can I contribute to the cause? And what will I need to bribe the ferry man for a ride across? Pet friendly event?
As far as the major cooking goes, I see this as a social activity where whoever is closest to the next ingerdient is cookingI think we are in need of a few more items so anyone that can help out, it would be appreciated. Google is not letting me see the spreadsheet at this time but I think we could use some more corn and sausage . . . assuming 4x4Dragon is bringing 5lb of taters (yes, small red taters!)

as far as I'm concerned, if pets are allowed on the island according to regulations and the pet is friendly, bring it on...so long as it's not a cat :9

Glad to have ya! How about smoked sausage ? Appears we have 2 rings now, could probably use about 4 more so hopefully 1 or 2 others can help pitch in as well.
Dameon, might be really nice to have the additional stove and pot. Hope you are still planning to bring it.
