    MLD Hammock Tarp - 4.4 oz, $90

I was at the Mountain Laurel Designs website last week and didn't see this, so I think it's new.

    Asym, Spinn, 4.4 oz (or 4.7 oz w/ line-loks), $90.

$90 for a spinn tarp. looks nice but I wonder if it would cover the footbox of a BB

Basically a Hennessy tarp in Spinn. Good idea.

I guess it would depending on how it's oriented!
    As per the spec's:
    126" Long Diagonal
    102" Short Diagonal
    98" long Side
    59" short Side
Seems like it's almost cut the same way as the HH stock asym tarps?!

I've looked at that, but I don't like the cat cut ridgeline. Cat cut sides are nice, but a catenary ridgeline can limit pitching options. I haven't seen one in person so I don't know how much it would actually impact its performance, though.

Wow, this is new. The bonded ridgeline seam and (I think?) the caternary cut features were not listed for the MLD cuben hammock tarp I bought a few months ago.

On the first link, the tarp doesn't even cover the end of the hammock, but i like the cuben one on the 2nd link, would like one the size of a deluxe or just make my own.
