Question grey 1.1 sl BB lay...

Who out there is successfully laying in the new grey 1.1 BB single layer and Uh hmmmmm your weight please.... I'm pretty light and weigh about 140lbs. Is your "lay" less flat than in a 1.7 single?

Or to ask another way, will the 1.1 sl stretch more than the 1.7 sl given i weigh 140 lbs. (the same as the max flatness rating for the single)??? I do understand it's a lighter thinner fabric...

but just want to hear it from some experienced hammock users before committing.

    thanks, kirk

Use the WB BB 1.1 single. I'm short @ ~64" and relatively light @~128-130 lbs. Flat lay relative to the 1st hammock, the HH ULBP. No knee pillow needed.

The lay will be less flat than your 1.7, the fabric is thinner. I have a dbl 1.1and a single. The double is more comfy and I have to hang higher with the single bc of the sag, but I still am comfy in my single and choose it 90 percent of the time vc it is so much lighter..I weigh 150.

    Thank you friends,
for your input - i appreciate it.

just trying to figure if it would be worth it for me to switch to the 1.1 single to save a few ounces...

    Hmmmmmmmmmmm

aaaaawwwwwww! alright - twist my arm

perhaps it's worthwhile so long as i can sell the 1.7 sl. Wouldn't last the day

But if i find the 1.1 sl uncomfortable do you think Brandon would accept a return? I hate to ask the guy to do that.

Selling the 1.1 sl. on HF may be tough - I don't think there are very many 1.1 single BB's out there...

    thanks,
    kirk

At your weight, in a single 1.1 BB comfort won't be an issue. I've got a hundred pounds on you and can still sleep in a single 1.1 BB. It isn't the greatest comfort level ever, but it's certainly good enough for a night's sleep. If I weighed what you do, no way I'd get anything other than a single 1.1.

5'4" @ 160lbs of twisted steel in a 1.1 WB BB... no issues and sleep great.

i am 5' 6" and ~140 soaking wet. the 1.1 single is good. i layed in a 1.7 and actually thought it was "too flat" if you can dig it.

btw, i have an immediate buyer in the wings if you dont want the 1.7 anymore

    hey thanks everyone!

Looks like i'll be placing an order @ WB!

    It'll be a couple weeks, can't wait...

Tewa - as far as selling the 1.7 - i will have to wait and see. i'd like to do a side by side comparison before i sell the 1.7.

    besides i can't go a couple weeks w/out a BB hammock!

If and when i sell the 1.7 i'll post here first but I may have a bud interested already....
