Bug-Bait,
So sorry you won't make it. Guess I'll have to take Deet...
Seriously, we'll miss ya but, as Pan noted, we'll put your absence to good use as a reason to drink to your anticipated return. Will you be sending Misto in your stead?

We can outfit Misto with a keg similar to a St. Bernard. Then take turns getting lost.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

I just got my Vacation Approved for that weekend for M.A.H.H.A., so I will be there.
It will be my first time surounded by Hammocks!!
I was just out on an overnighter with ramblinRev on the Mid State Trail, which was great!! But to be surrounded by Hammocks, I'll probally faint or jump over tall Pines or something!!!
I know it will be worth the 6 hour round trip from Central Pa.!!!
Can't wait!!!!!
Anyone who needs to carpool from Pa. we can discuss on another thread sometime in August.

I am the hawk and there's blood on my feathers, but time is still turning they soon will be dry;
All those who see me, and all who believe in me, share in the freedom I feel when I fly.”

I don't know if I'll b there or not. I'm glad MML decided to go... he'll fit right in. My time out on the trail Fri and Sat just established for me how seriously I am impaired by my disability stuff. It's looking like unless things change around fairly soon I may have to let it go. Took me two days to recover from the heat and the fatigue. Bummer.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

heh... ok... I'll say it before anybody else does. I ain't no gram weenie. So be careful what you offer. hehehe
It's not so much the weight as I can deal with that. It's more the way the body doesn't want to respond the way it used to. We'll see...
I've spent the last few months doing some self care in terms of letting myself embrace and accept the idea of being disabled. I am pretty close to that now. I need to begin on working what are reasonable and achievable goals for the situation I find myself in. That's the focus of my work with the personal counselor now. October is still a long way away.

I just saw this post. I am so excited because I didn't think there were any mid-Atlantic group hangs. It'll be so nice to meet other mid-Atlantic hangers finally! Can anyone tell me what the run down is and what the activities are so that I can be prepared and pitch in where possible?
