We're hoping to start out maybe around 1-2pm, though this is an easy hike up to the top so whenever we're all ready that's when we'll go.

Speaking of UQ's: I have never hung in the summer before. Do I need any insulation under? I was planning to bring a thin ccf pad but if I don't need to let me know.

Well now it looks like my son Davis will be joining us after all, so change the count to reflect GvilleDave +1 again.

Davis is 11 and has hammock camped with me a couple times. What are the ages of the other kids going on this trip so I can give davis the heads up?

Hey all,
Just got back from Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, NC and had a wonderful time with the wife & kids, riding the Howling Tornado 12 times!! You can look it up on Youtube and see it. Well, back to the thread.
Hedcase, Hooch, it'll be great to see ya' both again!

My two girls, Tori is 11 and Alleigh is 7. Alleigh is the wild one and Tori is the quiet one you'll see. They're great kids and I know they'll have a good time with the others.

We're all looking forward to hanging with everyone else in the piney woods if Pisgah!!
