1.1 ounces as shown or 31 grams.

There is 31' of 2.2mm zing it in the main line. 12" of 1.75mm in the each of the SSP and 11" in the prusik for the figure 9.

The 2 line system comes in at .7 ounces, 22 grams.

You could shave some more weight by using 1.75 on the main line... but for the masses I use the 2.2 because it allows the prusiks to lock better. Most want their TRL pretty taught. in order to do that with 1.75 on 1.75 you need to go with 4 or 5 wrap prusiks.

I'm thinking of getting me a 9'x7' Cuben tarp at 4.5 ounces. I figure 4 ea 4' lines without shock cord (no stretch) and a system that would let me hang up to 25' between trees. Right now I've calculated that at about 17 grams for all the cords using 1.75mm line.

If I added 9' more line that would raise my line weight to about 20 grams. So what does figure 9 and bone thing weigh? Maybe I could fabricate SUL versions...
