Stuff Sack for Hammock

I have a HH (that I actually bought from a member of this site) and it has a snake sleave that keeps the hammock. After doing a shake down trip, I've realized that is shouldn't take 10 or more minutes to roll up the hammock. Has anybody else experienced this same problem or have any suggestions for it?
I'm thinking about getting a small stuff sack and just stuff the hammock in the sack. And maybe even the under quilt for it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm going out in the next 2-3 weeks. Thanks.

I've been questioning the benefit of the snakeskins over a bag.
This bag at AHE has my interest. It has pocket with flap and a open pocket. So...Huggers, quilt, hammock, etc...is an ez task. I'm going on aboput which bag to get the 1 or 2???

You would probably be happy with one of Paul's bags at AHE ... it's a good way to store and easily deploy a hammock. I use a double end bag that I made myself ... still feeling it out if it's my long term carry method.

i use a draw string gym bag style sack i got at the texas state fair a couple of years ago.

you can get them at most sports stores for under $10 or from people who frequent trade shows for free. i throw my tarp and hammock in the big sack and my stakes, s-biners, and other misc items in the zip pouch.

probably not as convenient as the ahe bags, but not bad for free.

I can roll my hammock in less than 3 minutes and my tarp just as rapidly. It's the OCF from the super shelter that slows me down. With the proper sized bag that could be stuffed inside as well. I would advise that you keep the tarp separate no matter what.

oh yeah, good point. my tarp does go in it's own stuff sack with the ridgeline then into the big sack. i have not had to put it up wet yet, but i'm thinking of putting it in a mesh sack to be stored separate if need be.

If you can sew, a sack is pretty easy to make. I got lucky and bought a walmart dig camo kids sleeping bag (for the zipper) and it came in a dig camo sack. I ran the head end hammock loop out the bottom and whipped it in place. So you just open the string and pull and out it all comes. tarp and straps go in too. A tube type sack would be good for the kayak though.
