    Smile Hi From Massachusetts!

    Hello!

Just purchased a Hennessy Hammock (Expedition A-Sym) from REI on sale, and looking forward to using it in the mountains of New England to start, generally for hiking and hike-in Fly Fishing trips. The woods are thick here, and locating 'tentable' areas can be tricky.

Used hammocks in Vietnam way back when, and like the utility, weight, and ease of use.

From my username, you may glean that I am a Skydiver. Using the hammock at various dropzones will allow me to stay for free (or minimal cost) over long weekends for jump boogies.

I hope to learn a lot here, regain some of the skills I had in the past, and join the "Ewok" community as soon as possible!

Welcome to the forums and hope you find what you need here. If you can make it to the hang you should have a chance to see lots of different gear and perhaps try some out. Hope to see you there!
