For most of our cottage industry made goods shipping, I think USPS PRIORITY is a very cost effective way to go.
Free materials to pack, all the luxuries of a pittance discount by internet processing....with delivery confirm
Valuable tools for the general small stuff that fits in their biggest boxes

Yes! those cubens are calling to me...

USPS is cheapest when you use envelopes and flat rate shipping boxes and for international shipping. Fedex and UPS is cheaper with all other packages especially since insurance and tracking is included. Shipping overall isn't cheap especially considering most of my orders are over $50 and ship for free.

Just wanted to post about the customer service from Mountainfitter. My first package was lost by USPS. Mountainfitter replaced the bags and threw in an extra cuben stuff sack this time shipped by FedEx. The bags are very high quality and a great deal.

Thanks for the great service and look forward to doing business in the future.

Wow. With the cost of Cuben, that was taking a pretty big loss. Great customer service!

===> +1 !!! Got the shock cord tarp tie-outs, and there was some confusion in the beginning. Mountainfitter offered to rescind the purchase price, and just asked for some real-world review input. Well, I used them for my tarp at the NE/ NY Vermont Hang, and they rocked! Stayed taut through a veritable biblical rainstorm the second night! They are now permanently installed on my tarp.

Great Cust service, and certainly will do business with in the future!

I received more material yesterday. They will be standard gray/white and should be available by the end of next week but I am swamped right now so thats optimistic.
