    Kayaking around Reading

Looking for someone to go kayaking with! I just got my first kayak for a class I'm taking at Penn State Berks. In other words I have no experience now but will have a basic understanding sometime in the near future

Anyway, anyone that's got a kayak and wants to hit the water let me know. I've got a wrangler I strap mine to with room for another so if transportation is an issue I can help!

Not sure what else to put in this thread so here's a picture of my kayak

Good to see more people getting into paddling, i love it, the kayak camping trips are the best, as good as hiking in the piney woods, looks like a good entry level kayak you got there, remember your paddler box, nose over naval, and you will be fine
i do not remember the question, however i believe beer is the answer

I was paddling for the first time in 25 ys. Am looking to get back into it for camping around the lakes around here. Am quite interested in the Necky Looksha 14. Happy paddling

Somebody talk about hammocks quick, so I don't have to be a moderator today; I'm feeling kind of lazy.

the blackbird hammock fits in the day hatch nicely in the looksha, however i have had a hard time finding suitable trees on the wisconsin river to hang from thats not on private land and the islands usaully do not have trees, and the areas that are not private land are covered with poison ivy.
