How to Lie With An ASym Tarp

Ok, I am kind of embarrassed, but I have finally worked up the courage to ask this retarded question I have had rattling around in my brain for a while...

When using an asym tarp, do you pitch it over your hammock so that the shape of it mirrors your lay, or do you reverse it (if that makes any sense). In other words, if you lay is with your head to the left, what side would the closest non-ridgeline corner tie down to? I assume it is the left side but I want to be certain.

I have never used an asym tarp and am curious every time i see a pic of one ...
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I have not lived.

The asym tarp should mirror your position in the hammock.

You want it to cover you and keep you dry.

In the immortal words of Homer Simpson, "DOH!"

I figured you had to mirror the lay, but I just wanted to check

NOT asking a question, setting it up wrong, and getting wet and cold in the woods far from civilization would have been unfortunate.
Asking the question was the smart thing to do.

Asym tarps most often appear with the HH asym hammocks at least in my experience. The corner tie outs of the tarp match the hammock tie outs on HH.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
