Plastic shockcord hook with "toggle" ??

Looking for a plastic shockcord hook (3/32, 1/8) with a built in adjuster or toggle. Does one exist ?

    Thanks,

Would a mitten hook attached to a small prussick loop be usable, in your application?

What are you using it for?

    garg,
I am using it for the suspension on my DIY UQ.
The shock cord will run in the hem of the UQ (length wise, front to back).
I will have a hook on each end of the shock cord to hook onto the hammock.
I want the cord to be adjustable so I can adjust the "tension".
I will not have more than an inch or 2 of cord sticking out of the UQ, so not much room to do a Prussick.

BTW: Does a Prussick knot work on Shockcord??

    Thanks,

A prussick, done with cord and three or four loops will easilly grab and hold on elastic/shockcord. --To a point--, once you apply to much tension, the elastic shrinks in diameter. Too much tension and it will slip. Same holds true with a cordlock, in my experience.

I've done something similar to what your describing. A found a cordlock with a large enough hole to run two strands of shockcord thru (most cordlocks will work, except the really big ones). I ran one leg of the shockcord thru the hole, installed a small bead, then ran it back thru the hole. The bead prevents the shockcord from pulling out completely. Then adjust tension. If you place the mitten hook or carabiner behind the cordlock, it will allow for adjustment and an attachment point.

A knot in the shockcord does the same thing.
I clip the uq (small carabiner thru the shockcord to my suspension) on my different hamomcks, (I made the shockcord/uq to fit my biggest hammock, an 11 footer) then adjust tension as needed, tie an overhand knot into shockcord, leaving a loop on the end. Holds fine, undoing the knot can be a little bit of a struggle later, but not bad.
    ymmv. my 2 cents. hyouq.
