Here's my $1 hammock I made from the WM mystery ripstop. It's sort of a desert tan color and the material is thinner than the 1.9oz stuff I've bought at the fabric store, but not as thin as the o.d. green ripstop I've found at WM before.
I added a small whoopie to the ridgeline that gives about 12" of adjustibility. I whipped the ends according to Warbonnnet's method. I've re-whipped all my DIY hammocks like this as it seems to be the most comfortable in my opinion.
I've got about 16 more yds of this stuff that I plan to use for converting tenters I camp with.
