    Baffle tutorial

I know you guys that have made down UQ's are probably going to say," Aww, come on it's easy", but I'd like to see a few pics or even a video on how to sew no-see-um baffles for a differential UQ.
I mean how do you determine where to sew the baffle and HOW to sew it. I realize I'm not being very clear on the explanation. In short I'd just like to see how ya'll DIYers make a differential cut, baffled UQ.

I'd try to help you on this subject but it's just too "baffling" to me!

I am hoping to touch on construction process (not design process) in one of my planned Great Gear vids. I guess I need to get cracking on those.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

Here's a good set of photos, from Hitchhiking.
And, here is a karo quilt..ironically by hitch again?
This has to do with a uq, but its good info on the baffle install, just to get an idea.

    And here's some baffle info.

There are many more, do a search for "baffle", unless your baffled.

(hitchhiking, I'm not stalking,... just good info in your posts.)

Im really happy to see that they may help.

I will mention though that neither of those project are differential cut.
The next quilt will be a differential baffled but I can see many changes other the some angles and pattern size for the inside(or outside depending).
someone else may want to chime in if its to optomistic.....

Good timing on this question. I'm about to start my first DIY UQ and was just wondering the same thing.

    Thanks guys! (not you Hawk-eye)
Good info there. It's just gathering as much info as I can BEFORE I make a mess, that I've learned.
To quote Anthony Hopkins in "The Edge"...."what one man can do, another man can do."
Either way it's gonna be great to finally work with some down. I've been putting this off and putting it off for a long time, and I'm going to get it done!! Keep the information coming guys,I believe there's more DIYers that will benefit from this thread too.
