    Smile Howdy!

Been meaning to join for a couple of days. Nothing special, I'm retired Army (31V1P ABN Signal Corps) living on my 30 acre goat farm with the wife and kids (2 toddler boys).

I have always been the outdoors type and have spent my fair share in the bush. Between the BSA, Army, and about 2 years homeless waiting for the VA to get off their arses, I hope I have at least a few tidbits to bring to the table.

    Anyway, glad to be here!

Welcome to the forums! I'm from AR as well...Marion to be exact. However, I'm in the Navy myself and stationed overseas in Guam right now. I'm new to hammocking as well, a lot of good information here though...these guys know their stuff.

I'm new to hammocking as well. Just bought a ENO-DN from Amazon, so I'll be taking the plunge soon.

Yep, welcome to HF! Goat farm huh? We've heard they like to eat poison ivy. That true? Anyway, post away, we're happy to have ya.

Greetings from goat country! My neighbors have goats, llamas, great Pyrenees, and the like. Very peaceful neigborhood, except when a few of them slip over and eat the flowers.

Good to hear of more hangers in the Ozarks. There was a good hang back in the spring, on the Buffalo. I suspect it will be even larger next year.

My miniature donkeys can beat up your goats.
