I didn't take a pic, but the SuperFly is long enough that I used the grip clip on the other side to do the same thing with the foot tie-out. Very handy.
Trust nobody!
So I mentioned this in another thread, but what about using these grip clips to add doors to an existing tarp? Would these work well for that? Would definitely make the doors removable when not needed.
I like them. I will go ahead and do the mod Grizz made to his tarp with the spreader bars. I may also try these. I think they would really help for a bridge. Mule
Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
I just received 4 grip clips and can't wait to try them out. But at first look, the small piece that you wrap the fabric around and push it through the larger piece is a little hard to grab. I think I will sew on a small loop of gross grain ribbon to the smaller piece, in a bright color like red, so it's easier to grab and easier to find if dropped. And as mentioned you could hang something light from it on the inside.
Also, if your tarp sides are staked straight to the ground couldn't you use fully extended hiking poles to help with the grip clips by running a line from the grip clip to the top to the hiking pole and then down to the ground?

Part of my point, though not mentioned, is that it's been said that the grip clips need to be pulled straight out or upwards. So the hiking poles could help accomplish that if there is nothing straight out or above to tie out to.

I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.
