I have found Duck Window Kit is incredible. I started using it under my tent as a ground cloth and it turned out to be rather durable. I got about 14 trips out of it without any punctures. It is also lighter then a trashbag and about 100 times more durable. I now keep about a 3 foot by 3 foot piece with a little duct tape on the corners to put gear on when hammocking. I got 180 sq. ft. box a couple years ago at Walmart on clearance at the beginning of spring for about 5 bucks.

If you don't have access locally, AHE sells it by the foot with fast shipping.

I just sit in the hammock and take off my shoes from there. My pack is strapped to a nearby tree. If it rains I just put my pack cover over my pack or I use my rain jacket.

I'm another Tyvek guy. Picked up a piece about 3'x4' two years ago, and it's been great. I'm not as spread out as Stormcrow, but do get a pretty good mess of gear going on!

I used to carry a full length piece of Tyvex for going to ground if I got too cold, but as my hammock-fu has improved, I dropped it as not needed.
I use a JRB Gear Hammock for storage, and if the ground is muddy I just hunt a little harder for a dry spot.

Nope! It's the same stuff, the only difference might be the size of the roll!? They come in width of 3ft, up too 25-30ft wide roll's, maybe even wider?
