It appears that they do not know what it is!
Polyester would be highly desirable, due to it's strength and low stretch. Nylon should be avoided; it's strong, but stretches a lot.
If it truly is seatbelt webbing, it is not nylon.

if you go from THIS link http://www.strapworks.com/Strapworks...ling_s/174.htm you will see that is just how to put loops on you nylon OR poly webbing. seat belt is poly.

Seatbelt Polyester: Polyester webbing in our seatbelt style.
Available Sizes: 1 INCH - 1-1/2 INCH - 2 INCH
BTW, it is confusing the way different industries abbreviate different polymers as 'poly.' In fabrics, poly means polyester. With webbing, it might mean polypropylene or it might mean polyester, which have vastly different properties.

Whats the best way to tell poly from nylon webbing?
I ordered 4 sets of 1" seatbelt simple slings from Strap works.
These are "softer" and "shinier" than the last ones I got, and have a slight "green" highlight to them when viewed under a flouresant light.
But what has me concerned is no matter how tight I cinch the hammock I sag WAY down.
