How is a good lenght for a UQ?

I have been down to sub 0º several times in my over-stuffed winter yeti 1/2 uq with a ccf pad or my thermarest sit-pad under my feet. Was totally good. Had a good tq as well.
You just have to get out and see what works for you..... the best way to absolutely know!
