    Double Nest double layer?

Is there two layers on the Double Nest? I'm thinking there isn't because there is no mention of it on their site. Or I'm blind. I also couldn't find a post about it here though I sure they exist.

If the Double Nest doesn't have a second layer so I can put a pad into could someone suggest an Double Nest equivalent (price sort of, quality) that has the second layer?

The double nest is a wide hammock that allows for two people to lay in it. It is only a single layer hammock though.

Neither the singlenest nor the doublenest come with double layers (at least my DN didn't).

Dang it! I was thinking of my first Hammock being an "off the shelf" then passing it on to my wife and making myself something different.

You could buy a WB Traveler with 2 layers. It's a simple end-gathered hammock like the ENO, only available with different fabric weights and layers. It's priced similarly too.

We think alike. I just bought the ENO DoubleNest which I will use a couple times to figure things out and then pass it to my son while making my own.

Awesome! That's what I have been looking for! It also allows me into the Warbonnet club!

    I hope they serve drinks.

    Thanks!

Can't be a full member in any hammock club till you take a spill. That's the final initiation.
After that, you'll be given the secret handshake.

Does it have to be accidental or an on purpose one?

Accidental is the standard, but if it is funny enough, an on purpose one will do. But fret not, an accidental drop really isn't a difficult, or rare, thing in these parts.
