Wisereader:
my wonderfull wife of 29 years ( our anniversary is today), thoughtfully reminded me that next Saturday June 26th is our Sons graduation party at our home with 30 family and friends in attendance. I still remember how big of a deal it was when I was 30 and graduating from High School.
I love my children dearly, and they are the priority!
I knew their was something lurking in the back of my head about that weekend, that is why I mentioned I would let you know for sure, it must have been that Party!!
Anyways; It looks like a great place for a Pennsylvania hike up there at Hickory Creek Wilderness trail, but it looks like I must bow out of this one after all.
My July schedule for Backpacking/hanging looks much more promising!!
Have a great time on that trail, But it looks like I will be hanging in the backyard ( again) the weekend of the 26th.

"I am the eagle, I live in high country, in rocky cathedrals that reach to the sky;
I am the hawk and there's blood on my feathers, but time is still turning they soon will be dry;
All those who see me, and all who believe in me, share in the freedom I feel when I fly.”

Without dedication toward priorities and a wife to remind us of them, I don't know where many of us guys would be!
I may try to do the Morrison trail next month, and if you are interested, maybe that would work out for you.
Happy anniversary, congrats to your son, and have fun with the backyard hang.
We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect. - Aldo Leopold
Anyone going out July 4 weekend? I have 4 days off to hang if anyone is up for it. I live in North Eastern MD so PA AT might work.
