    Tarp Guy-Line Stowage

DIYed a new tarp. A friend thought the guy-line stowage idea was a good one, so I wanted to share it here on the forum(where I learned everything I know related to hammock camping).
Just a piece of elastic band sewn to the inside hem near each tie out loop.

I like it. I'm working on incorporating something very similar on BWDD tarps (one prototype model went out a few months back).

That's a good hefty piece of elastic there. Should do the job very well.

Another idea that anyone can add to any tarp w/o sewing is to make a loop of shock cord, about 4" loop (so 9" of shock cord) with a mini-cord lock on it. Larks head the shock cord to your tie-out, wrap your cord and stuff half through the loop and snug up with cord lock.

That's an elegant solution! Got some retrofitting to do here.
