I'm going to sell my top quilt. I really don't want to, cause I love it... but even more, I love building new gear. So, I think I'll sell my TQ to fund materials for another.
Cost: $125.00 + 6.00 shipping
TQ-IX 6.jpgTQ-Clima3oz 2.jpgTQ-IX 5.jpg
Details: Quilt 18oz
Shell: 1.1oz Olive Green Ripstop (extremely comfortable against skin)
Insulation: 3oz Climashield
53" wide at head, tapered to 46".
Large footbox, and sewed up 24" from foot end.
Length ~77"
Edged on outside edges w/grossgrain. Edged inside footbox w/ribbon (softer).
Details: Overcover 9oz
Shell: 1.1oz Woodland Camo Ripstop (only outside, raw IX inside)
Insulation: 2layers Insultex
Sized just slightly smaller than TQ to cause a "fluff" effect on the climashield, it is also about 6" shorter (TQ is very tall).
The combo snap together along the edge and integrate very well. I used it comfortably in the low 20's this spring (and I'm a cold sleeper). The IX topcover does an amazing job of boosting the climashield. Either layer can be used independently, making it a very versatile quilt.
Many more details can be found in this thread. It has seen very minimal use and is like new.
This is not being sold as a BWDD product, but a DIY Top Quilt that just happens to be built by the builder of BWDD products.
