Yep, one of my favorite movies too (and book!).
The song is excellent and so true, so true!

The movie is really good!
But the book is bloody brilliant!

Written by my old time favorite writer Jon Krakauer since Into Thin Air .
Somewhere along the road another famous name appeared in the early research for the book, mister packraft guru Roman Dial.

Shows that, the two guys are close friends.

Longterm weather forecast predicts rain next weekend. Temps 8-12 degrees. Don't know what it's like at night, but I imagine it's around 0. Subject to change, of course, fingers crossed.

Pack accordingly.

Me and Rawhide will be there sometime in the early afternoon. The car from Umeå leaves at around 10.00.

Time to start thinking about what to pack foodwise.
