What a beautiful place to hike and camp. The video was a joy to watch, especially with the music.

Thanks for the video!
The trail was quite worn in spots I see, do you think it was also an animal trail?
I loved having a chance to see how your backcountry looks, that was cool! I was surprised to see that you guys camp just like we do here in the states (That's just a joke)
What kind of animals did you see while you were out?
Thanks again, and I hope you have many years of adventuring in front of you my friend!
I like to go solo - off trail - immerse myself in the area - explore - eat really well - and make it back home.
Nicely done video thank you for sharing with us!
Hey Trout, I think it may be partially from animals. There is an event run where people run/ bush bash through the area and this may impact the track also. A lot of water also runs along it so this probably causes some of the erosion. Unfortunately didn't see many animals. Wedgetail eagle flying overhead. We did camp near a lyre birds hood. If you havent heard one before have a look on youtube. They mimick any other sounds they hear. The one near campo was going to town, Kookaburra, black gallah, Bell bird, whip bird, rozella and many others all blended together in a medly! They have been known to make chainsaw and TV sounds!
I have heard reports in the past of hiking hearing wild dogs and dingoes at night running past their camp and howling but haven't heard any myself.
I am looking to do a 3 day hike later in the year through the wild dog mountains and hopefully I will get the hear or see some!!! Check out Kanagra to Katoomba NSW on google maps if you want to see an overview.

Wonderful video - Love to see where the rest of the planet backpacks.
Really enjoyed your video and the music. I just bought an Australian album last week...looks like I'll get another.
Great vid Pazza! Hitch and I just got back from Cloudmaker today. Beautiful area.
We're hoping to do the Kanangra to Katoomba as an overnighter. Should be a great trip.
Did you see the guest book on Cloudmaker or Crafts wall?
Thanks for posting again. Nice song.
Hey I didn't actually know about the one at crafts wall! We had a member really struggling (had to carry his pack as well as mine) so didn't go up to cloudmaker till next morning and I slept in and missed it. That's the probkem of a cumfy hammock!
I would definitely be up for that walk. Will bring my non hanging friends trying to conviert them. Only the experienced ones this time.
Did a hang to minus 5 in megalong valley pretty cold. Shendoah pad and car windscreens shields. So maybe go when it is warmer?
