Gday guys I did a 26km hike with some friends on the weekend. We walked from Kanangra walls to the base of Mt Cloudmaker and camped.
I slept in my Claytor Jungle Hammock with the large Claytor tarp. I used a JRB Shenandoah UQ and put a 1/4 foam pad between the uq and hammock. Temps got to about 2C and I felt a bit cold.
I think this was the result of wind. The tarp ends were closed but the tarp was about 30cm off the ground.
Should I put the tarp all the way down to the ground and would putting the pad between the actual hammock layers help?
Anyway check out my youtube video and channel.
