Man that stinks, yea I would say forget about the trip until it heals properly, your feet take all the abuse when hiking and all the grime and bacteria that could get in there from hiking ain't worth it!!! Hope it heals in time for you to go!!!!

Check the Citico thread and see which weekends might work best with Meidinceman's schedule. I'm shooting for next month. Maybe a few extra weeks will give your foot time to heal enough.

Oh heck, you'll get gouges deeper than that in the Gorge.

Yeah, LG has cut some gouges in my "pride" over the years
