Finally, I spent the night in my HH! Help me get comfortable

Finally got to stay the night in my hammock this weekend (still in the backyard though!). I'm a stomach sleeper, so I struggle a bit getting comfortable for extended periods of time. My knees tend to ache from being overextended.

Had a back up pad that I put underneath my knees and that helped a lot. In the quest to be UL, I'm wondering what I can use to replace it when I'm in the woods. I plan to end up wearing most all of my clothes, so the only thing I think I'll always have access to will be my rain suit.

What do y'all do to get comfortable, and if you put something under your knees, what do you use?

    Thanks!!

I've used a small inflatable pillow and an extra piece of clothing.

    Flex Air

Thanks. I'll try one of the Flex Air pillow's at BPL. They're less than an ounce and cheap to boot.

I have been sleeping in a papasan couch for years before I bought my hammock and found a way to sleep that reduces the hyper extension of my knees quite well. I bend my left leg and place my left shin behind my right knee in so that my legs make shape like a four ( 4 ).

This way I don't have to carry anything extra and I don't wake up with knee pain.

Yep! Same here. That is actually one of the set of 3 positions I switch back and forth from while in my hammock. I usually start out off centered (so I am basically flat) on my back. Then I will switch to the position mentioned above. Lastly, I can lie partially on my side with both legs bent and my feet in the crook of the material. What works for you could be different but switching between these 3 positions all night usually keep me comfortable.
