New to Hammock Forums

Hey all,

I've been hanging for about a year now and am just now getting around to posting something on this forum.

I'm a college student and engineering intern from Huntsville, AL. I am an Eagle scout and have been backpacking for several years. Only recently have I got into hanging and I don't think I'll ever go ground again (unless I go back to Philmont, they don't allow hammocks). Along with starting to use a hammock I've gotten into lightweight to ultra lightweight backpacking.

I hang in a Hennessy Ultralite Backpacker, standard. And I use a CCF pad and Marmot Pounder for insulation but am looking to upgrade soon.

Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself.

Welcome to HF from another Bama hanger. I'm down in Gadsden. Keep a look out for the occassional Bama group hangs and others that happen just north of you TN.

B-man welcome. I'm new to the forum also and just started posting this week. I spent all last month reading post after post after post. This forum group is top notch - lots of great information with lots pics and videos.
