    All Sold Out

Like many others, I'm a noob and on a bit of a budget. My wife is already asking what I'm spending all the $$$ on. Considering I'm making some purchases under the radar, trying to find a decent tarp at a decent price has been impossible.

Many threads on this forum have recommended the Gear-Guide 12x12 and the Chinook 12x9, but everyone is sold out.... and I mean everyone. They're not even available on eBay.

Other than a DYI, does anyone have any other suggestions?

    thx.. Festus-99

    What is your price range?

Have you considered the HH 70D Hex?

I'll be hanging in an ENO DN. Being that it's 12' x 10' and rectangular, I'd imagine it would work with almost any hammock setup. What do you think? If so, I'll certainly consider it. Thanks for the info.

The Hex is a pretty good tarp, and it will absolutely work with an ENO DN. I have the silnylon version and was fine in a thunderstorm Tuesday night. If you want an ENO Profly that was only used once, send me a PM and we'll work out a deal.

Put out a Want To Buy (WTB) ad for the Gear Guide Tarp and the Chinook on the forums. You might get lucky.

Thanks to everyone for the ideas. I'll probably go with the Hex. Found one at a good price.

Hey Trooper... From your post it seems that you like the Hex better than the ENO profly?? I've never seen a positive ENO post for anything but the Hammocks.

Good luck with your hex tarp. I'm sure it'll work great for you.
