No one is making much in the way of Cuben quilts, I know that there is one guy that has made some top quilts from Cuben and Momentum fabric. But as a quilt you have to remember that Cuben is a vapor barrier and will add a lot of warmth just on that alone.

I have a nanatuk down sleeping bag that I amputated the foot box to make a 3/4 uq then I sewed a .33 cuben on the underside of the uq, this keeps any spin-drift off, acts as a wind barrier , and adds a bit of warmth, (by blocking wind) no vb problems as vapor rises. I use a cuben H anyway so the point is moot! gnome

Yeah, that sounds like what I'm looking for. I can't believe you mutilated a Nunatak quilt though! How dare you

Contact Stormcrow as he has been playing with this a little. He will make you anything you want. A cuben crowsnest sounds delightful.

    make me some clips!
how much fill should be used for a 3 season UQ? I was looking at Stormcrow's site and noticed that his 3/4 has 9oz of fill. That seems like a lot, there is less than 9oz of fill in my full length 3 season quilt.

I have a new one for sale on Backpackinglight. Click Here

I am well known on BPL with over 1,000 posts. I do not want to post it for sale on more than one board.
