    Trout,
Try setting it up differently, you may have had a funky set up?
If that fails and you really feel its stretched, try a simple hand wash. Dunk it in the sink, roll it around some, gently ring it out, hang it out to dry for a few hours in the breeze. Washing may re-align the fibers, and help your issues.
My hammocks may have stretched some, but are usually more comfortable after a few days of hanging.
A ridgeline really helps control where you like the sag, do you have a ridgeline on your hammock?

The hammock has whipped ends w/o any movement. When I've looked at specs of hammocks it usually says 1.9 holds 350 pds, as I understand.

My setup had been very comfortable until this particular individual had laid in it for 10 min.

I'll try and wash it and see if that helps.
I like big hammocks - I cannot like.

I'm only 6 feet and 185 pounds. I've had a couple of giants in my Brownbird. Both of these giants exceeded my Brownbird's weight limit (240) by 100 pounds and 40 pounds for 5 minutes and an hour, respectively. I haven't noticed any stretch.
