    Got my wbbb and...

It's really nice. I know everyone else on here has said that, but I really like it. I got the 1.1 dl. I changed out the suspension (added whoopie slings) and slept last night in it.

Here are my impressions: The lay is really nice. I do think I need to make or find a small pillow, but that's a minor thing. I thought that the "shelf" would be kind-of "gimmicky" but it's not at all. It's very convenient. The stitching and sewing is top notch.

I've thought long and hard and can only come up with 2 minor gripes. First, I didn't care for the buckle type suspension. I might have been doing something wrong, but it really locked in tight and was difficult to loosen. Maybe having two slightly different shaped buckle pieces (offset tabs or something) would give more purchase to pull them apart.

my only other minor gripe is that the zipper pull tabs are small and cylindrical. If they had a hole I could add a bit of cord or something to them. I can still thread the cord through the actual slider part of the zipper, so it's no big deal.

Other than those minor things this hammock is pretty much perfect. It took several minutes of lying in comfort after waking up this morning for me to come up with those two things.

Re: the buckles, just don't hang it so tightly and you'll have no problem loosening it. You should try to have the webbing (or whoopies) be somewhere around 30* anyway...then the buckles won't lock down tight.

But if you already switched to whoopies then it's not an issue.

I have small zipper pulls on mine...but the gripe is still valid. Even with the pulls, they're still pretty small to find in the middle of the night. I have some cord pulls I've been meaning to put on there. Might do that as I unpack from this latest trip.

Agreed. I added a little bit of glow in the dark paracord to my zipper pulls so that I could find them easier and that has worked well for me.

I've had great success with small (around 12"x12" or less) pillows from Walmart. You'll find them in the sewing section where the poly fill is located. They are meant to stuff small decorative pillows, but they have good loft, and they will compress to about the size of a softball in a stuff sack. Mine was on sale for $5. You can certainly get nicer pillows with down, etc, and mine was intended to be temporary, but I like mine enough that I'll probably just keep using it.

I added cord to my zip tabs as well.

I like using a little piece of leftover Kelty Triptease for this. Works great.

Mine has little cylindrical pulls with no holes to tie onto. How did you add the triptease? Did you tie it onto the slider part beside the normal pull, or did you remove the existing pull somehow?
