    Wbbb

I just ordered two WBBB 1.1 DBL's for the Wife and myself and one Superfly. Can't wait to get them and try them out. I know I was tired of sleeping on the ground.

I owe it all to Shug's videos! My Wife was not thrilled about spending more money on hiking gear. I had been doing alot of research on Hammocks and ran across Shug's videos on this site. I thought they were awesome entertainment and also good tool for information. But after watching hours of Shug's videos she caved and told me to go ahead and order them if she didn't have to watch anymore of Shug's videos. I don't understand why she wasn't thrilled. I really think it was the Bluegrass type music. I will continue to watch any new Shug videos he comes out with when she is not around.

Anyway, I can't wait to try them out. I know she will enjoy hiking alot more now that we are not going to be confined by tent sites.

Congrats on your new gear!!! I have two WBBB, the 1.1 dl and the 1.7 dl along with a superfly. You will love the Warbonnet gear. That tarp just keeps coming out of the bag when you take it out. You will see what I mean when you get it. lol Happy Hanging. BTW... I kind of used my grandson, who is 8, to get my wife interested. The first time she laid in mine she thought it was cool. Now we all 3 have our own.

For my wifes sake I usually watch my YouTube addictions with head phones on... Saves her sanity and then I really can block out the rest of the house...

that's too bad guys---my old lady loves Shug's videos.

congratulations on your new purchase, you'll love the product. hammocks have completely changed the way I experience the back country after ten years of tent camping--not just how I camp, but the whole experience--and I hope it will heighten your enjoyment of the back country as well! you will understand in time!

keep browsing the site for tricks, tips, and hints on how to evolve your tactics to make it better and more interesting.

Thanks for all the replies. I know when they get here it will be great. My wife actually spent some time in my DIY hammock today. Took a nap. Positive sign. I know when they get here we will probably do a little trail hopping on the AT around Waynesboro Va. Can't wait.

In the mean time I will be on this forum finding out all I can about Hammock Hanging. My wife thinks I get a little obsessed. This from a Teacher!!!! I'm just gathering all the knowledge I can. She should be giving me an A for effort!!!

    This Forumn is Awesome!

Thanks again to everyone who shares their experiences and knowledge.

    Ivan.
