cheap practice for making a whoopie sling

I have some ⅛" amsteel ordered, but wanted to try my hand at making a whoopie sling before I used the amsteel. Remembered I have some cheap braided polypropylene left over from installing a submersible pump in a well, so I dug it out and made a sling!
Not the same length as I will be making for my hammock, but at least now I'm sure I'm capable of making one without wasting the amsteel.

    very nice!

I was worried about messing up the amsteel, but once I started working with it the truth of the reusability of this rope becomes clear: if you make a mistake, 'milk' the braid to loosen and you can start over. I went through a few revisions on my amsteel 7/64 before my final product.... never a bad idea to practice on scrap ahead of time though!

Hey, very nice. I agree with g0bez, though, most of the time you can just pull out the buried line and start over if you need to.
